style editor Stacey Smithers rounds up her preferred ornaments in stores now.

While the holiday shoots we put together at H&H are styled to look stylish as well as imperfectly ideal (check out our December 2016 issue), things are a bit different around my home during the Christmas season.  I try extremely difficult to throw all my stylist/decorating “rules” out the window. I opt for a tried-and-true multicolor plan as well as an practically anything goes Christmas vibe. all of us get together, put on the Christmas music as well as deck out the house, hanging my child Miles’ homemade ornaments best together with household heirlooms — I do admit to being rather adamant about overdoing it on tree lights as well as tinsel! right here are a few designs I’d be pleased to make space for this year.

1. because I like a multicolored Christmas tree, this affordable bauble from Canadian Tire is best up my alley. just picture exactly how it would sparkle!

2. This bottlebrush deer from Pottery Barn delivers traditional Christmas charm.

3. I have a soft area for small-scale ornaments, so Indigo’s handcrafted, gold-dipped feather caught my eye best away.

4. I’d purchase a few of these easy garlands from The Paper location as well as casually wrap them around my tree for a pop of colour. So pretty!

5. While it’s not a Christmas ornament, I just had to include this felt stocking from Drake general store in my round-up. I like its simple, yet graphic look.
